A family member has acquired a very nice 2.5" blued 19-3. Looking for ship/build date and any other interesting gouge. Original box and manual. Serial # 8K81056. It is in pristine shape. I know, I know, pictures are needed. Soon to follow.

I have what I think is a butchered pre Victory model. Serial # is 9329XX. Barrel is 3.5 inches from front of cylinder to muzzle. Front sight is not half moon, but ramp-shaped. Marked .38 S&W CTG (not special). Converted by Cogswell and Harrison...

It is a model 19-3. In very good condition and hopefully headed into the family. Thanks again for the replies. I think I'll hang around and learn some more. All the revolver talk made me take my 610 to the USPSA match and get the last two classifiers I needed to get my classification.
