Very nice set up! I'm setting up a 3914 for carry right now. I too would like to find a single sided safety (black). Is the safety one the value series metal like the one on the 915? I wish more sight makers would help out with these 2nd/3rd gen guns.

**UPDATE Turns out the hammer I had was fine. However, the firing pin was oversized .005 and was sticking in the firing pin hole. This was enough to bind the action. Had the pin thinned and now it works as it should.
