Picked up these two 10 mm’s. Top one is a 1086 and bottom is a 1076. Plus an extra magazine. I haven’t had this good a S&W day since I found three four inch model 29-2’s in the same day.

The flash hole is drilled out slightly smaller than the diameter of the primer. There is no powder used in shooting wax or plastic bullets. This keeps the primer from backing out and theoretically increases thrust to the plastic or wax bullet. Once done these cases can not be for regular loads...

I be more nervous of someone pointing a revolver at me with dirty cylinders. That means he shoots a lot. I'd rather see clean cylinders.

Primers backing out are caused by the case not being pushed back against the recoil shield. I doubt if a full load would have the same results as primed case. Actually people who shoot wax or plastic bullets drill out the primer hole to prevent this. You should be good to go when adding powder...

Some of us don't live in the city. We have neighbors that buy a box of shells when they need one. I look at my stockpile as the local armory. I can supply all of my neighbors and build quite a defensive position when the city folks come to plunder.

I shot a bison six times with that bullet. Recovered three on the offside hide and three kept going. I was using my S&W model 629. At the first shot he just stood there. So I gave him five more. He stood there about 20 more seconds and fell over dead.

I just received two $50.00 rebates in the mail today. Bought the guns on Black Friday. Submitted the rebates online when I got home. That's for two 9mm shields that brings my cost down to $180 each out the door. What's not to like?

I haven't been keeping up to date on pricing lately. I've got a 686+ four inch no lock that someone wants to buy. I'm not sure what dash version it happens to be as I don't have it with me at the present. It has been shot but is in 98% condition. Any ideas on current realistic value? Thanks in...
