When I first got my M&P 9 I had the same issue. What I would do was pull the slide back, press the release and let it go. After a while of having to do that the slide release works like a charm. You just have to break it in a little.

So I lve took to the Internet for the best ways to clean my mp9. I've read a lot of people say don't use any solvents on the frame, slide, or spring just use a clean tooth brush and brush away any gunk. The only place to use a cleaning solvent is inside the barrel. Is that wrong? Also when...

I was thinking of what to get as a Conceal carry. I was thinking between the shield 9mm or M&Pc 9mm what do you guys think? I did just purchase a full size 9 but wasnt planning to use it as a conceal.
