Nobody is finding 686s for 400-475. Some people just like to claim they can get a specific gun cheap.

No or early dash 650-750 later dashes 500-600. The only reason no or early dashs have a tad more value is because of the no machined parts and lock, in no way are the no or early dashes better performance wise. The 686 is a great 357 mag model.

Pretty average price. If its like new go for it maybe talk em down to an even 1000. Ive paid as low as 900 for one that length but it did have a good nick in it. Many will tell you they got one cheaper but i doubt youll find any 500 or 460 under 1k.

While i love underwood for 40 and 10 i do not use it for 44mag as its not that hot. Not sure why one would shoot 180 in 44mag even my specials are 210 or more. Stick to heavier grains in 44mag. I can say ive shot tons of underwood 44 special 200 and 245 hrain and it ejected fine from my 69s.
