I'm not really a Glock fan, but I`ll admit to owning a few Glocks over the years. It`s all about function with a Glock and yes, they do function well. Good luck with your new 36!
The Model 65 is one of my favorite revolvers. I carried one, a 4in, for a long time. The 3in should carry even better. They are superb revolvers in any configuration. Congratulations on a great purchase.
My main powder for 9mm is W231. Power Pistol is also good. Tightgroup is economical but one must be very care full not to overcharge. I like the results with W231, but it is hard to find now.
I don`t mind teaching young people to shoot my revolvers. I believe it introduces them to the history of our sport and shows them that there is another way other than spray and pray. In my time, taking care of the shot was what counted, and it worked very well.
I`m armed whether I`m at home or outside the house. I usually carry the same gun I`ve carried that day, usually a K frame or a compact Glock. My wife doesn`t often carry in the house, but has quick access to her Sig if needed.
