My First Kit Gun - Pre 43

I have to admit the Model 43, much less the Model of 1955 .22/32 kit gun, has never been on my radar until yesterday when I found this one yesterday in a LGS. Great shape and priced to sell so I could not resist. A fascinating little gun weighing in at 14.2 oz. Couple of hard to see marks on...

    18-4, My First S & W .22

I've been wanting to pick up a decent shooter Smith .22 just for giggles, and actually a bud has a Model 63 he would part with if I wanted. But then I came across this nice Model 18-4 that I couldn't resist. A bit nicer and pricier than what I had in mind, but sometimes you just have to take...

    Considering a 38/44 Outdoorsman

The LGS has a pretty nice looking 38/44 Outdoorsman I am thinking about bringing home. It has a buggered spot on the right side of the barrel near the muzzle and a few freckles here and there, but is pretty darn clean otherwise. Probably not shot all that much. Action and timing are fine...

    New to Smith & Wesson

Greetings people of Smith & Wesson. I have been enjoying the forum and thought I would say hello. I am fairly new not just to S & W's, but revolvers in general other than shooting as a kid. Previously I have been a Browning Hi Power and Sig Sauer enthusiast. But over the last couple of...
