Light .44 Special load............. For a light load I shoot 3.5gr. or 5.0gr. Bullseye and a 200gr. RNFP Cowboy bullet, been shooting this load for 45-50 years now. It's useful for introducing youth and ladies to big bore revolver shooting.

Reloading area............. Microwave cart from the unfinished furniture store or used from Good Will, yard sale etc., sturdy with a big enough top and storage drawer & shelf. Roll into a closet when not in use.

Magna-ported M/629......... I have owned a Magna-ported 4" No dash M/629, I feel that it did provide a reduction in felt recoil, did not notice an increase in blast or noise. The gun was ported when I got it, would I port an un-ported gun definately not.

I've had several low ball offers of $1,100. which I've turned down.

4" M/629 Current value.......... The one that I was inquiring about has the presentation case & tools and paperwork. S/N N8372XX.

Sizing lube........... I have used Imperial Sizing Wax for many years now with complete satisfaction. Apply with your finger tips and remove with a microfiber cloth and rubbing alcohol.

Another interesting book about the Battle of the Bulge is "The Bitter Woods" by General Eisenhower's son.

Ammunition situation.......... Price gougers and other opportunists have done much to destroy our shooting hobby.

I'd heard that Bullseye had become unobtanium, I went to a gunshow this past Saturday and a vendor had 10 1# of Bullseye on his table. I bought one pound for $45.00 and was glad to get it.
