Update to my original post, hubby and I were able to score 5 boxes of Federal 22LR, qty of 325 per box early last Saturday morning at two separate Walmarts. Timing is definitely the key here.

Hello, I'm a 56 year old female, never owned or fired a gun in my life until last November. Love my little 642 now, currently getting the trigger pull lightened up a little and looking forward to doing a little shooting when I get it back. :)
