Hi All I have 2 j frames that both have somewhat buggered yokes - The engraved j-frame yoke needed facing off as it was way out of true - I had to use 6 bearing shims to repairs. not ideal but someone had already banged up the yoke trying to stretch - It functions tops know - also had a off...

I took apart the cylinder on my model 60 to give the ejector rod assembly a good cleaning. There is a thin ridge of metal around the center hole under where the ejector star ratchet rests. can this be safely cleaned and removed - is this normal? Is this machining remnants or a wear buildup...

so no real collector value? A good candidate for a shooter then!

Hello - this is my 1st post - i have a model 29-10 which is engraved - master lock, 4 screw side cover -It came to me in a presentation box - I am trying to figure out what I have... it has a serial # starting DAT it appears to have another # on the crane numbered in the 300's Thanks
