i have used PMC Bronze and Power-shok in .223 rem, plain PMC in 5.56mm, and PMC Bronze in 308 win, they have been fine shooting all around.

i drilled mine from the exposed side and it got a bit messy, but i was replacing the plastic stock anyway. i think if you drill from the other side you could use a punch to push it out cleaner.

my experience PPU 145gr fmj-bt fires consistently and groups seem ok, but so far i have only gone to 100yd with it. Brown Bear 140gr softpoint fires consistently but i couldn't get any decent groups even at 100yd. I carefully opened a new box and looking at closely it all the points are...

I use the ACS 10 round magazines and have had no problems i could blame on them. i have had plenty of problems with some of the ammo, but the same magazine with different ammo works flawlessly.

they may be if you have a factory railed gas block. but here in mass the only m&p-15 sport model i could get had a fixed front sight, not a railed block... the block i got to replace it was short so i have to have the taller front sight. unfortunately i bought the wrong pair to start with...

iron sight gotcha! besides not putting a plastic sight on the gas block there is one other gotcha to watch for. when you pick out a pair of sights be sure you know if they are for a setup where the rails are at the same height, or for use on a gasblock that is lower than the receiver rail.

I agree also, ppu 145gr fmj-bt shoots reliably in the m&p-10 and flies straight.
