Uplula is the only way to go, it works so good that I even bought some of the other maglula products such as the x12 t12 loader that makes reloading some of the 22lr pistol mags so much nicer / quicker.

What brand dies are you using? Did the primer return spring break or does it need to just be put back on the primer slide. Another thing that can cause a hang up is if there is still a primer in the primer slide it can catch the shell plate, especially if the handle is slightly forward.

Did you check these rounds with a case gauge prior to shooting them? I'm just wondering if the cases themselves are slightly bulged at the bottom, causing them to be harder to extract. Might want to check your sizing die setup, and what your crimp is at, as either of them can cause extraction...

My choice is either 230 gr Federal HST or 230 gr Speer Gold Dots, either one will serve you well. I typically buy any of my self defense ammo from sgammo.com (They have target ammo too) Not only do they have great prices, they ship very quickly. They also don't price gouge like some businesses did.
