    I want to put a 13" or 15" (not sure yet) Troy alpha rail, and the original gas block is to big to fit under it.

    Thanks to the member Streaker, he was very helpful. In case anyone needs it, the barrel diameter is 0.750". Now I can start ordering the parts, I will post pictures of the process.

    I just ordered an mp15 in .300 blk with a +2 months of ETA. My intention is to put a troy alpha rail on it, so I have to change the huge railed gas block, with a low profile one. My question is, what diameter gas block do I need? What is the outside diameter of the .300 barrel? Thank you.
