BG38 grips
I have this gun with Hogue Tamer grips installed. It's awesome... totally fixes the small hard grip issue. See this thread: http://smith-wessonforum.com/s-w-revolvers-1980-present/239525-bodyguard-38-replacement-grip.html

My wife didn't like the recoil on my Bodyguard 38 either, but ever since I put the Hogue Tamer (60020) grips on it, she's much happier with it. It tamed (pun intended) the recoil drastically. I love the little piece... light and pretty good on accuracy, but if your wife is gonna flinch every...
Prettying up the tamer grips BG 38
I mentioned earlier that I didn't like the big, ugly, dust-catcher hole in the bottom of the Hogue Tamer grips on my BODYGUARD 38. With the help of a neighbor with reloading equipment, we fixed the problem. All it took was a used 40mm casing, a small black...
S&W Bodyguard 38 with Hornady Critical Defense +P and two speed-loaders... It's hot where I live, shorts weather April thru September & the BG 38 is super light, no hammer to catch, very smooth pull, and good accuracy for a snubby. I like the reliability factor of the wheel-gun and no safety...
Like I said earlier, I love the Hogue Tamer grips on my BG38, but what I don't love is the big ugly hole in the bottom of the grip. Looks like a big dust & gunk collector. Any ideas on how to fill it in?
When i first found out Hogue was making it, I checked Midway, Cabelas, all the biggies, and they were all on backorder status till like May thru July. I got mine direct from hogue after about a month or so wait. Paid more for it, but was anxious to get it.
I have a Bodyguard 38 and it has one of the smoothest trigger pulls I've ever felt... a little strong, but smooth, and with no catches at all. And i also have not encountered your accuracy problem either. maybe you just got a lemon? Can you maybe request S&W give you a replacement?
Just got a Bodyguard 38 and installed hogue tamer grips (#60020)... black of course, not the pink ones LOL. anyway the little guy shoots very well, no accuracy problems evident at 5 or 10 yards. Haven't tried anything further yet... with a snubbie, maybe I never will. Muzzle flip's not bad...
I just put the Hogue 60020 on my Bodyguard 38 and I love it so far. I have fairly big hands and that hard little stock grip only let me get trigger finger and two more on the grip. Now I can get one more finger on it. Love the thicker feel of it too. Pretty easy install, too. I can't wait to try...
