I discoverd the same problem when I was cleaning my 9mm today. I had to use my thumb sometimes to hold down the takedown lever and sometimes I didn't. Since this is a common problem, has anyone noticed if it has affected the performance of the gun?
Thanks,
Matt
My first carry gun was a Taurus Model 605, 357 magnum. It had to be sent back twice because the cylinder timing was horribly off. Revolver's are supposed to be the most reliable of all handguns and my taurus was the complete opposite. Now i carry an M&P9 and will let my 357 sit in the glove...
Hi everyone, Im a new member from Pittsburgh, I went to the range today and took my M&P9 compact. After about 150 rounds i noticed that the white dot on my front sight had come off. Has anyone else ever had that problem and if so, would i be able to get a new one from Smith.
Thanks
