problem here is its gone as fast as it comes in. got my max allowed, per walmat policy, of cci tactical 22lr They had a case of federal bulk on tuesday, damaged in shipping unsellable. keep hopes up. they are getting ammo.
there are twist on scope mounts that would work good for a quick disconnect set up for competion set ups or access in malfunction case. am sur you cover plate coul be modified for it.
Ziploc (snack bags) 100 rds per bag, easy fill on 4 mags. my kids want to shoot they can fill bags. When bags are filled (100 ea) and ammo can full, each kid gets a bag to load and shoot. It's also easier to control usage and not just burn through it all. baggies go back in ammo can when empty...
Is it all set up on a flip to side mount? or a quick disconnect mount?
Side note i think its cool how you can hold it at your hip and still use the sights! lol
go with black. grip- black, mag- black, barrel- black body/ upper- od green, trigger/ lower- od green great color sets. add black magpul flip up sights.
Love the bench. was lucky with mine was scrap wood sitting in the shop. Am only one shootin on mine so didn't worry abot lefties shooting of the bench. Its a 36" by 36" with 30" table height. bucket/ seat can carry drinks and snacks, ammo.
Yeah, flat land and shooting into the woods! not good. I could go out shooting now but the dirt/ brick burm isnot ready yet. there is nothing in the line of fire but that could change in a heart beat! no need to kill some one from a stray round.
Dont need a lot of land for target shooting. many county ordinances allow for target shooting. We have just a handful of acres but it is split into 2 haves one half is woods and shooting range other half is chain link fenced and the house. have 7 small dogs sohave to make sure shooting is out...
Just built a shooting bench for my back yard. I'm building a 50 yard range, in progress, out back. Have a distance marker for shorter 25 yrd shots/ p-22 targets.
How many people shoot at home?
You're only as old as the caliber you shoot. Stick to 22, 357 is the devil! lol 45, not bad, 9m a little childish. 223 (5.56) is history. so i'll stick with my college age .22lr
running PTS here. gun is just a fun plinker, so no need for heavy dough for some built up gun.
flip side if you plan to get a .223/ 5.56 then spend the extra with plans to switch stuff over later.
Tap (bottom of the mag to maker sure seated,)
Rack (Pull bolt back, release to chamber a round,)
Attack (disengage safety and engage enemy with live weapon)
