Yep you are right that is something I haven't thought of yet. Either of those cast bullets will have the wrong profile and will likely not feed in an AR or they will need to be way short. But they may work in my revolver. Neither one is gas checked. I powder coat them myself though.

I am thinking about building out an AR in this caliber as well. I think I have enough sizing dies to get to .355-.356. Two different molds I have are a 180rn and a 200gr rn. Powder coated. A few issues I won't need to worry about with this revolver, gas dwell time, feeding and magazine lenth.

Anyone here load the 350legend? I have S&w's xframe in 350. I have already loaded some ammo using Hornaday 170 bullets but, those are not easy to find. Was thinking on squeezing down some home cast 180 gr and or sizing down some 358 jacketed bullets meant for 35 rifles. Guess for this...
