Last year 232,000+ deer killed in Ohio. Less than 1% killed with a handgun. Going to have to try it this year simply because of the challenge. I will use a 629 classic DX in 8 3/8” but will limit my shot to 20-25 yards after a summer full of practice.
I have been the proud owner of a 6" model 28 since 1975. My wife's next husband will have to be the one to get rid of this gem because it will never happen as long as I have breath in my lungs!
I recently inherited what I think is a pre-27, but I'm not sure. It's an N frame .357 with a 3 1/2" barrel and nickel finish. Serial number is S 796XX. I believe it's from the early 50's, but could use some help in identification of it. Thanks in advance.
