Just picked up my m&p 40. And when the slide is pulled back the barrel is loose. When the slide is closed it seems fine. Suppose to be like this?

so I just ordered my m&p 49 and want to get a conversion barrel. My question is what kind of experience does anyone have with either of these barrels. Fte, ftf, ftc. Any issues?

Sold my m&p 15-22 to get the m&p 40. I'm wanting to get a laser sight that isn't too bulky And fits under the barely nicely.

Say you have a loaded mag in and you're shooting. When you run out of rounds the empty mag catches the bolt and makes it stay open for easier re chambering when reloaded. The bolt release would be the only way to release it. Not sure if there's any left handed mods for that. But if the bolt is...
