Thanks for your reply. My apologies for not updating and closing this thread. I found my answer(s) on another forum, my 4.25" M69 with it's RDO/500x grips as well as similar 686's and 629's with larger grips, do fit the large versions of HPG kits. I have a HPG Heavy Recon bag on order.
