@Cphobes Thank you. I was thinking about this but higher on my list is an Apex trigger kit. I'm thinking now it might be a lot to invest and put the $ towards a new pistol instead.

My Shield 1.0 has sat for about eight years. I want to try a red dot on it but don't want to spend for milling or a slide. Thinking about going with an optic plate (EGW) and a Vortex Viper Red dot for a budget approach. The downsides I can see are having the dot too high and possible durability...
