Hey everyone, I've shot a variety of assault rifles, and none make that distinctive sound of an M16. I'm talking about that spring sort of sound when firing, no other rifle makes this sound. What causes this? Thanks!

Hi-Points by far. That weird plastic piece on the bottom of the magazine make their pistols look like a cordless power drill.

Nice car! I was looking at the new Hyundais not long ago and was told all the dealers use a synthetic blend. Ford also starting using a blend and recommends 7500 mile intervals for oil changes. I use Royal Purple in my car and was told to change every 12k miles. Synthetic oil really does work!

I also bought a Ruger LCP last month. Is it true that hollow points don't expand with the velocities of a .380? I was told only ball ammo is good for a .380 as hollow points wouldn't expand, and if they did, it would be too soon to allow adequate penetration.

I wanted to fire from the hip, but the indoor range I went to has partitions waist high.

Yesterday I bought a Mossberg Cruiser and took it to a range to break it in. I tried out target ammo first, no problems there, got bored and moved up to 3 inch slugs and buckshot. I won't make that mistake again. Does anyone have experience with pistol grip only shotguns?

I heard that the Air Marshals used 357 Sigs, I was very surprised that they would use a caliber with such penetrating capabilities. Wouldn't it make sense to use a very small, weak caliber so it doesn't punch holes in the fuselage?
