OMG, love those Pythons. I think there is nothing scarier than looking down the barrel of a 4" or 6" .357 revolver. They just look nasty and ready to do business. My home defense is a 12 gauge and a 4" .357 7 shot with 4 Tuffy strips handy.
IMO, 20 gauge enough, but watch # of rounds. Some Mossberg youth models only hold 2 for a max of 3. If played safe, would only have 2. Not much if the shooter is inexperienced. I have a Remington 870 Express that holds 4, 5 max.
No experience with moon clips so I need to ask this probably basic question. If I have the cylinder cut for moon clips, do I always have to use moon clips or can you still load one at a time?
Thanks everyone. Does anyone have experience with the Thunder Ranch 8 shot speedloader? Very pricey (60 plus shipping) but might invest if they are reliable. I could not find any other speedloaders for the 327.
I just got this model 327 Nightguard:
Product: Model 327 Night Guard - .357MAG
Can someone advise me whether this model is cut for moonclips and if so, any recommendations as to what brand and where to get them?
Thanks.
