I have, was a long way from home and the battery died in my red dot (not a Aimpoint). Didn't have a spare battery with me so instead of calling it a day I just started using my BUIS. However now I do carry spare batteries when I am out.

You have to buy the MIAD AR10 grip wedge. Magpul sells them. Fills the gap perfectly.

I have been having the same problem as of late. Not all the time but often enough to get my attention. I have been shooting only CCI Blazers. I think it might be the mags, need to start taking note of wich mag's it is happening on.

I love shooting old melons and other assorted fruit and like crackers and cookies clean up is taken care of by the "locals".

Use mine outdoor only. I am lucky in that I live where I can step out my front door and start shooting if I wanted too. Shoot just about anything I think would be a fun target.

Heard of others using the same type of Eotech clone having the same problem or the buttons not working at all. Nice shooting though.

Can understand that. The reason I was thinking about getting another upper was that I wanted to try some painting and didn't want to ruin the only one I have.:p

Free is nice. I was wanting to get another upper for mine, doesn't need replaced just want a second one.

I am curious if anybody knows if there are any spare parts for the 15/22 out there yet? Parts like uppers, lowers, barrels and etc. Or do you have to go through S&W to get them?
