    Factory grips for 1969 14-3?

Beautiful pics! What determined whether a Target Masterpiece came with Magnas or Targets? Were there other options (trigger, hammer, etc) that would indicate which grips likely came on a 14-3? Or was it random? Or did it just depend on how a retailer ordered it? I'm leaning toward the target...

    Factory grips for 1969 14-3?

I have a 14-3 that was determined by some kind folks here on the forum to be from 1969. It has aftermarket grips and I would like to try and find correct looking grips. They don't have to be the exact year if they look correct. What details should I be looking for? Thanks

    19-3 P&R Date Help

Check out this 4" 19-3. It's pinned and recessed and seems all correct. Store guy guessed it from the 80s. Didn't P&R end at or prior to 82? Serial is 2K85592. I'm guessing early 70s? Do the grips look correct?

    Front sight question

The red insert hang-over isn't much of a deal for me, but the rounded and asymmetrical top of the sight is driving me nuts. I bought the gun from someone on this forum, and it was like this when I got it.Thanks, I'll try and square it up carefully. Is the a source for new inserts other than the...

    Front sight question

My 686-4 has a worn front sight. It seems rounded over, maybe from holster wear, and is worn asymmetrically making sight alignment sketchy. It doesn't appear to be pinned. I'd like to hear some options. Could I square it up carefully with a file? I have ample adjustment on the rear so I can...

    Looking for 1st reloading press

I'll go against the trend and say get a good single stage first as a beginner. It will likely be easier to understand, execute, and troubleshoot each step of the process on a single stage. YMMV

    J-Frame Grips and Speed Loaders

As of now, I only have an HKS and a Safariland speedloader for my 442. I'll check into the Fivestar.

    J-Frame Grips and Speed Loaders

Which ones handled recoil better? I have fairly large, boney hands with little to no meat to pad my palms.
