Tacticool has one that is compatible with the 15-22
When I replaced my grip I went with a more vertical one from Stark Equipment which had the option for a QD socket above the grip. Figured it would save me from one more thing to attach and also allow me to mount a folding stock on there down...
It is held in place by a magnet, as soon as the bolt cycles it opens up. There was video one member posted somewhere on the forum showing his rifle firing with the cover closed, the cover opens quickly enough to allow the spent casing to eject safely.
On the barrel nut adapter it comes down to if you are willing to dremel the alignment tabs off your receiver for the stock hand guard or not as to how much gap on the top rail you are willing to live with. The Modded version requires you to take off the tabs that prevent the stock hand guard...
I don't know of a functional muzzle brake specifically for the 15-22 that goes on with a setscrew.
That said, if you want an adapter to allow you to use standard 1/2-28 threaded muzzle devices on a non-threaded 15-22 barrel, Jody makes an adapter at Tacticool22
For a false flash hider to...
I've not taken mine to the range yet since installing it so I can't speak to the hammer resetting yet, but... I do have the issue with it not latching home unless you force it forward or rack it and let it go abruptly. Figured that it might get better as it breaks in and is lubricated some more...
I'm sure that some might want it, but with the trend towards swapping out the factory hand guard for aftermarket free floating ones, I'm not sure that it would be a very large number of people buying them. Also airsoft gas blocks with the standard lower height rail avaliable for $20 you would be...
Currently I have a Mil-spec Magpul CTR on my 15-22, and I still have to use some tape to shim it tight. I had wanted a MOE version but a great deal on a 15-22 with 3 shots through it had me getting the standard 15-22. In hunting for an MOE I came across a CTR PTS stock dirt cheap that I hoped...
What parts are avaliable to buy for the M&P 15-22 that allows you to do this?
For the OP:
Being in the middle of a folder project on my 15-22 I can fully appreciate the guts it takes to cut into the one piece molded buffertube/lower reciver for the first time. Looks really good, the "stock"...
I'm not going to say that this post made me 15 min late for work this morning... but yeah I might have had one ordered by the time I walked out of the house
Out of curiosity, what ones have you tried so far? Don't want to buy ones that are already known to not work while trying to find a functioning solution myself.
While I've liked mechanics gloves and gear from back their original military line with no markings or logos in the late 90's I've ended up using quite a few different brands since then. Recently I've used a set of Oakley tactical gloves that have been really nice, my only complaint is that other...
After doing some more thinking on the subject of the JP hammer spring, if anyone one has one that they didn't use as part of a spring upgrade and would be willing to part with please pm me. I'm debating a new project for the 15-22 that I want to try with it.
While I'm fairly (ok make that really) new here, everything I've read in researching my newly aquired 15-22 is what GhostMutt just said. Now I'm sure that some have had success with the hammer spring as well, but the safe route is just the trigger spring.
There are two sources that I've found with left over Promag stock, one lists two left but it's a maybe until I can confirm the other has quite a few when I spoke to him saturday. Sadly I didn't find out about the larger stock until after buying another 5 factory 25 rounds ones wednesday.
I was hunting for holders this weekend, the issue I'm running into is that I have magpul loops on each of my 25rnd mags and the promags I am ordering are only going to be worse for length. The flaps look nice but are a no go for length.
Airwolf is this similar to what you went with? Amazon.com...
