Hawkeye, Easier said than done in California. I feel very fortunate to have located this 1996-97 born 629-4 (last engineering change before MIM hammer and trigger were introduced). I would love to swap with someone with a 4 inch 629-4, but they would have to want to swap and also be located...

    Internal Lock question

----- This is an absurd statement. Can anyone point to one single case brought against any firearms manufacturer related to the lack of an internal storage lock on any firearms? I challenge anyone to show the forum a legitimate citation to such a lawsuit in the United States. I have never...

The Winner is "tmbrcruizr" - .38/.357 Quickstrip KARMA!

Greetings, I recently ordered some Quickstrips in .22, .357, and .44 from Tuff Products. They accidentally shipped one less set of .44 strips, and one more set of .38/.357 strips than I ordered. I called and the owner insisted I keep the extra pack of 2 for my trouble. They are going to ship...

Used brass casing included with new revolver

I agree this does not sound like accurate information. However, make sure you save that spent casing since someday collectors on this forum will pay an extra $300.00 if you have the original factory spent casing in the envelope. Oops! You opened the envelope and "touched" the fired casing...

KARMA - Fighting Iron by Art Gogan - *** Nicksterdemus is the new winner!!!!

Texas Star, I am not a technical person, and I found the book fascinating. Also, there is an interesting section on how to reveal worn or ground off serial numbers that can be done at home (good for all you amateur detectives that watch Monk and Psych!). Happy holidays, Mark
