5906 magazine grip extension for 6906

Awesome. Thank you! These are the same ones as we could get from Brownells back in the day that don't have the floorplate sticking out?

5906 magazine grip extension for 6906

Hi everyone: I want to use my 5906 magazines in my 6906, but need more of the grip extensions for the magazines so that they don't just stick out. I used to be able to find those items on Brownells, but they seem to no longer have them. Does anyone have a source for these? Thank you in advance!

Is it time to replace my safety lever springs?

Sorry for the delay. I only get home late at nights and I'm already ready for bed! I took off the right side safety and there's no nub period!

Is it time to replace my safety lever springs?

I recently cleaned out my 6906 as best I could. I took apart everything except the sights and extractor and cleaned everything out. The only spring I replaced was the recoil spring, though. Since then, every time I decock the weapon, I hear the same sort of 'sproing' noise that an AR buffer...

Summit gun broker has them in stock. I can't get them here in CA but I figured that another S&W enthusiast would want the heads up!

    New to me 6906

I always found it interesting that holster makers usually have holsters for the square trigger guard models but models with the rounded one like above are few and far between.

Question on 6906 safety springs and night sights

You guys are awesome! I can't believe I didn't even think of Wolff. Considering the age of the gun and the fact that it's so filthy, is it worth drifting out the rear sights before sending it in to clean underneath them? I would probably have a gunsmith do it because I can't remove the...

Question on 6906 safety springs and night sights

I've been spending time refurbishing a 6906 I picked up some years back. I recently disassembled the entire frame, cleaned it out, and put it back together. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I only needed to replace the magazine catch spring which I was able to find at Numrich. Now after...

6906 Barrel and giving new life to one of my favorites

Greetings all and Merry Christmas! I decided to do a detailed strip of my 6906 because the magazine catch just had a really mushy feel to it and when I pulled it apart, the spring was in very poor shape. Before I pick up a new spring, I wanted to make sure that I get in anything else I need to...

Hi all, Will a holster for a square-trigger guard 6906 fit my 6906 with the rounded trigger guard? Thank you in advance!

    5906 extractor in a 6906

That's what everyone keeps telling me! I just happen to be the king of bad luck when it comes to material objects breaking on me. If I own it and it can break, it will. If it can't break, it probably still will.

    5906 extractor in a 6906

Thank you for the help! There's a fellow selling new old stock extractors. I've wanted one as a back-up regardless, but feel that I may need one because when I pull the slide back to do a press check, the round dips down instead of being firmly in place like on most of my other pistols. I can't...

    5906 extractor in a 6906

Will it fit? The 6906 and 5906 extractors have different parts numbers on Numrich but is that just due to finish or something minute?
