Shield 9mm with green crimson trace
This has been my pocket carry gun for two years. I love it and have no intention of changing for anything. I also have a 642 which I also have had for years and it also is an excellent gun. You can't go wrong with 9MM shield and green Crimson Trace.
LCR VS 642
I had a LCR 38+P revolver which was a very nice gun but being 82 years old the recoil was more than I could handle. I bought a 642 and the recoil with this gun is much less than with the LCR. I couldn't shoot +P in the LCR but no problem with the 642. The 642 is just a few ounces...
My 42
I have a 42 but I have never seen if it has a hammer or not. I tried using a light and looking behind the trigger but still couldn't tell. All I know is that when I load that rascal and pull the trigger, it goes "bang". It is my carry.
