    I got one of those 32-44`s myself. And I use an old Ideal mold. Very old. It says 32-44-83 S&W. That mold casts a roundnose .325 bullet. Some say that they used to trim that bullet to .323.     Cleaning the old top break

    If you shoot black powder water and soap should be enough. I take of the grip panels and soak it in hot water. Run a few patches soaked in soap and a few dry ones. Soak it again. Then I give it a real good amount of motoroil. Dry of the surface and replace the grips. I have a few old timers...

    Iv taken two photos so you can read the barrel address... Do you guys know how the 32-44 perform compared to the .44 Russian? I mean in the accuracy department... I might be able to buy an old Ideal mold. I hope that is the right one for the caliber. The mold has the stamp: 32-44-83 on it.

    Yes that is what Iv heard too. That the casing was just as long as the cylinder. But I dont get that. The cylinder was just as big as it is on the .44, atleast that is what Iv been told.
