    586-3

I purchased a 586-3 today, and I am wondering about a marking on the grip frame. It looks like a P. I was just wondering what it means, if anything.

I've seen several 15's priced similarly. I have not seen that many 36's. I have a small collection of S&W pinned barrel revolvers, and I want to add to my collection. I'm not looking for a particular model, I saw these two for sale, and was wondering which one would be the better buy.

Thanks for the responses! I will offer less for the 15 and see what happens!

The local gun shop has a pinned barrel model 36 and a pinned barrel model 15 for sale. Both guns are blue, and they both appear to be in great shape. The 36 is priced at $614 and the 15 is priced at $619. I can only get one, which one should I buy?

    18-4 cases hard to eject

Does anyone know why it's hard to eject cases from my 18-4? Are tight chambers "normal" with model 18s?

    Possible Model 27-2 trade

Would trading a Winchester 9422 trapper LNIB for a 27-2 in similar condition be a good trade?

    K frame 357's

Thanks, one of my k frames has right much end shake. This is why I became concerned. I plan on sending it to S & W for repair. It still shoots great, but I don't want to damage it any further.

    K frame 357's

I have 3 k frame 357's. After doing some searching on the Internet, I'm now afraid to shoot magnums in them. What do you guys think? Can you shoot magnums, or do I have 3 38 specials?

    19-4 date

I picked up a 19-4 a few months ago, and I was hoping someone could tell me the date of manufacture. The gun came with rubber grips on it. I put some target stocks (speed loader relief) on it, but I'm not sure if they are correct for the time period. The serial number is 64k2xxx. Thanks
