Is anyone making see-thru grips like the ASP had for either a 5906 or the 3913? Are there any grips that would lend themselves to converting to this style grip? Thanks, Michael

As high as the later model Smith revolvers are going, I'm surprised this one would be so low valued.

Serial number is 2219xx, in .38 Special. I think the grips are not correct for this older model, but am trying to get an approximate age and value for it. Can anyone assist please? Thank you, Michael

Updated the original post, finally got to look at it. The number on the butt is actually AEE33xx.

As that generally ups the value, I'll pass.

Serial number questions aside, what do you think it might be worth? I feel like these have gone up in value, as have most of the Pre-locks.

That is the number on the butt, under the stocks. I thought it was strange myself.

I have a chance at a Model 13-3, I grabbed the following pics. Can someone give me an approximate build date and value please? Serial number on the butt appears to be: AEE33XX, does that sound right?

I've got my eye on a 4506 that looks like it was thrown down the proverbially gravel driveway. Is Smith still repairing these, or have they run out of parts? I know I can call, but thought someone here might already know. Thank you, Michael
