Never had issues with thumb safeties. Guess it's because I've been using then so long. I agree, the grip on the EZ 9mm has to be thought about in order to make it work. It wasn't the ammo. I was shooting Blazer Brass and Winchester white box thru it when the FTFs were happening. After polishing the feed ramp and the feed lips on the two magazines, I had zero failures to feed after shooting 100 rounds at the range the other day. Before I did my fix, just...- MrToast

Out of the box my M&P Shield 9mm EZ would have a failure to feed about a third of the time. The cartridge would get stuck about half way out of the magazine.
