arjay. I think your right. Checked them again and appears to be lead. Going to local gun store and purchase a new bore light, bronze brush and something for removing lead. I was shooting Remington ThunderBolts. These were not copper jacketed. I will keep you posted. Thanks

Shooting at 5 & 7 yards ( indoor range ) appeared to be good. Grouping ok. Haven't sighted in yet or tried distance shooting.

sdk. Do you have any problems passing a 22 caliber cleaning tool through the bore with the cylinder open? The cleaning rod end will not pass through mine even with the cylinder rolled out.

I can see that it appears there is a step or reduce bore at the start of the rifling. Heck, I a couple of hundred rounds through them and didn't have any problems. But the bore is reduced in this area and a 22 caliber cleaning attachments will not pass through this point.
