I think the 3rd Gen s&w's are some of the best guns EVER made. I have owned several and still do. I have the 4006 and the 4006 TSW. Both guns are boringly reliable. My 3913 is the most accurate 9mm I have ever owned, it shoots under 2 inch's at 25 yards with numerous loads.

I owned 2 SW99's a 45acp and a 40S&W. I had recoil spring problems with the 45, but the 40 has been 100% flawless, accurate and out of the several guns I own is one of my carry guns. I also hear the 9mm is excellent, wish I could find one in 9mm right now.
