    Model 10 CCW

The following work very well for my model 10 tapered barrel and my model 66, both with four inch barrels. I strongly recommend that you wear a t-shirt also. Amazon.com : HKS 203M-P Plain Double Speedloader Case, Black, Medium : Hks Speedloader Pouch : Sports &...

Model 10-5 pencil barrel date of manufacture.

Could any of you well informed people please tell me the date of manufacture of my recently purchased model 10-5 with serial number D50966? Thank you in advance. Smith and Wesson Model 38 plus p

Thank you for the link. It was very interesting as well as informative. I once had a Taurus model 66 .357 disintegrate in my hands while firing 125 grain federal sjhp .357 through it. The blast went forward, so I was not injured, other than my pride. It literally fell apart like the bank...

Thank you for all of your feedback. I may take the plunge and try a cylinder full. The revolver is steel, and lock up is excellent.

Thanks. I probably will err on the side of caution and use standard pressure hollow points and lead semi wadcutters.

Smith and Wesson Model 38 plus p

I recently acquired a model 36 no dash which I have been advised was manufactured in 1963. It is in good mechanical condition and I have shot about 100 rounds of standard pressure 158 grain fmj through it. Could any of you tell me if it would be okay to load and occasionally fire plus p .38...

Bad Load? The .38 Special 158 gr. RNL

I believe that Magtech as well as S and B have somewhat harder primers than most commercial brands. This only seems to be a problem if you had your trigger significantly lightened thus lowering the kinetic energy with which it hits. Repeat hits usually do the trick.

    Lost my Irish Setter today

I'm so sorry that you lost your friend. Such a loss can be as painful as losing a family member. I hope the sorrow passes quickly, and the fond memories last forever.
