I like glocks just fine. I have a gen4 17. But the M&P Shield is my EDC, and I like my M&P fullsize 9 better than my 17, mainly due to the superior ergonomics. Now if glock were to release a 42 equivalent in 9mm... I might be tempted.

cargo pocket carry works, but it's a bit heavy. pocket carry with jeans, no way no how. back pocket the gun pushes the pocket out very noticeably and the grip is extremely visible. front pocket, again way too big, and sitting in a car there is virtually no way you're going to be able to draw...

does S&W even manufacture the 41 any more? it's listed in their current product lineup, but I have not seen it show up in any distributors for the past few years.

froglube is a great protectant, horrible lubricant. it gets sticky when it gets cold, or when you run your guns hard.

the shield is only pocket carry if you are andre the giant.

try a different trigger. i've put several thousands of rounds through my 15-22 with slidefire and have only had one FTF. even with the crappiest ammo. the geissele hits those primers HARD!

i've got the technique down pretty well, now i can mag dump just about any ammo no matter how crappy. the biggest difference for me was how I held my trigger finger. i hold it so my index finger actually hangs over the outside of the trigger rest a bit. the key is that the inside, second bone...
