    Well, we lost :(

When the releaving pitcher for Vegas walked the first three batters that he faced, I was hoping the coach would correct the problem. Not. When you are already down by two runs, you don't need to help out the other team, do you? Maybe nexy year.

    Keg of old powder

In my old reloading manuals, it looks a little like SR7625, used in medium shot shellpistol loading. With no "Name", I would not load it unless a sample was sent to the company, to find out if it was still in good condition and load data received, from them. Now that is a real, "Oldie, but goodie".

    Sporting Clays Anyone ?

I got into it late, after trap and skeet but it was one reson I went to a "Rotor" unit insted of my Mec, for loading shells. I did not mind loadin a few flats on the Mec but the 500 to a case , made me upgrade, to enjoy SC, with the 100 rounds, needed. Finally ended up loading 7.5's at 1145fps...

    c/o "old lighter".............

I had to add this little note after seeing this post. The other day we went to the Dicovery place, for kids, that has Nevada info, animals, things to climb and a water display with wood toys, etc. Our little Rosie just turned three years old and was having her birthday party up on the second...

Now what do I do ?

Monday, July 14th, I was going fishing early, so I put out the two garbage containers out to the curb on Sunday night at 7pm, so I could leave a little earlier. Mondat night at 6pm, the recycle unit had still not neen emptied. I called the Reno waste office for a pick up and was scheduled for a...

pc'd bullets vs traditional/lubed bullet velocities

If you ever get around to it; I would like to hear how that long rifle bullet does at 200yards. Some bullets either "Settle down" for better accuracy or "Open up" their groups. I waste a lot of bullets "Tinkering" around with "I wounder" ideas. Thanks for letting us know how those big bullets...

    Competition / target load velocities

It is known that he used the factory, Brazilian ammo, MAGTECH, for all his matches in the old days. I don't know what he uses now.

    Latest guitar project arrivals

That sure looks a lot better than the guy on PBS that showed how to make a Cigar box unit, in his garage, "Wood shop" show. He mentioned a lot of the "Greats " that started on these low cost units, and it did sound pretty good for the low quality parts, that made up the unit. I really like...

    How Low Can I Go?

I loaded some 9mm coated 115gr lead bullets in a test for cycling and low fps loads, a few years back with Trail Boss powder. One of my pistols would cycle with this powder, out of four pistols, tried. A .45 case has not been tested, but you do need to be very careful, if you try this powder...

The Cow skunked me this evening - because I was lazy!

Here in Reno there is a meat store that sells quality... meats from chicken to Elk. At a friends, I was served a peace of beef steak that was so aged and tender, that I did not like it. It was like soft oatmeal. No meat "Grain" to even chew up. It was medium rare and had a good flavor...

    lament on old age.

I am at the age, now, where I need to take a few rest, while mowing with the gas mower, to catch my wind. I know that work or exercise is good for you at my age but it needs to be gentle to this old body.

Titegroup 9mm Question for 147gr Load Data

I have found out, that in my 9mm pistols, with the large 147 gr bullets that the CFE to HS-6 "zone" of powders, giveme the best accuracy and highest fps, if you us their maximum load data. the fast and slower powders were just average in my target accuracy test.
