I was told by a S&W tech. that I had to use the moon clips or the ammo would not fire as they would be too deep in the cylinder as it is recessed to accept the moon clip. I haven't tried this to verify yet.

Just received my order of .38 special 158 gr. fmj and .357 125 gr. fmj. Neither cartridge will fit properly in the moon clip. They are too tight and bend the clip. I can't even get 7 in the clip. I could only force 6 and then they wouldn't line up in the cylinder. Anybody have a problem with...
