    Are you speaking of the Troy 7.2" TRX as the mid length? with that or the JP Modular mid length 9.2" would I need to buy anything else to accomodate the new part such as a gas block or something else?

    Thanks for the reply. I have seen the apex hand guards but they seem to have been out of stock with no backorder for some time now. Anything else practical out there?
