They are Kim Ahrends Retro Combat in rosewood stained maple. They are quite beautiful and comfortable in person. The pictures don't do it justice.
I was in the same boat as you! After firing a 2 inch 44 magnum, I decided it just wasn't for me. The recoil was unmanageable and violent for such a...
Decided to add a 627 and 629 Stealth Hunter Performance Center to my collection recently and I cannot express how amazing they look and feel. I've been loading some light target loads using 231 and they have been a blast to shoot (very accurate, too!).
After adding some Ahrends, I decided to...

Remove the sear block housing, then remove the safety. It's easy. Use a 1/8" roll punch.
The only issue you will run into is the risk of the having the forward pin walk out, which will make you lose your sear disconnector. The loss of your sear disconnector will make your gun inoperable.
There are no cases in which a modified trigger was ever used against a defendant unless there was color to the case (gang relations, illegally modified weapon [think:NFA], etc.). I don't know why such an internet myth still carries on...
Additionally, it is highly likely that you would...
I guess you didn't read the last part of my line: many choices out there, as well as different reasons to carry a certain way.
Different strokes for different folks I guess. ;) If you limit yourself to the choices of carry, you ignore the fact that something "good" may come along the way...
This is a little review on a M&P Shield holster made by Dave Pipenger. Another good review was done by skosh69 here.
First, the prompt communication and ship-to-door time was fantastic. From the moment I paid [while requesting some modifications to the holster which fit my type of carry] was...
