Look what these sold for. They are exceptional un turned and never loaded. The inlay on the side plates is unbelievable. Check out the pictures.

Sure your right, and I fully understand that the comany didn't ship in consecutive order. There were various production delays. Reasons normally were inventory of parts, delays special groups of serial numbers that got shipped in mass as produced to orders like those of Police Departments, An...
I agree with the OP on this design as well. Here's a thought, how bout almost the same thing in .45? Hamilton Bowen has been building them for quite some time.
Take a look at this.

Sorry guys didn't mean to hijack the caliber here. But I'm sure...
Yeah the unfluted cylinder would ad a little class and strength. So I vote for that too !
I actually thought about taking a 610 and doing this but the adj. sights mess up the whole scheme here. Oh and I have settled on a 3 1/2 " nicely contoured barrel for my erotic dream gun. And I'm not sure...
The Model 58 would sure be on that list. There were a few, (very few) but most of what you see are factory refinish guns.

Well do you want a cylinder that rotates to the right or to the left.
Big Snakes are pretty but ............Since Colt "Went out of Business" the prices are through the roof on anything in a Colt box. My first legal gun was a 5" Model 27. I love that gun. And have you ever compared a 5"...
Hi guys I'm trying to identify the Serial number range in N Frames for the year 1972. I have it that they started with roughly N60000.
Does anyone know where they stopped that year? Or started out in 1973 I'm having a hard time locating that list.
Thanks

I would probably go ahead and buy that 14. It's after all not a gun that was produced in tremendous numbers and if it's in that good of condition it will be hard to find one for a great deal less money to beat it. I make that serial number mid 1975 as well, and it's going to be very difficult...
I can sure see the influence of Gustave Young and L.D. Nimschke in your layout and scroll. This is an art form that is true. There are few who rise to this level and you have perfected your craft. That Model 19 and the 1911 are exceptional. And I really enjoyed the inlay on the SAA Colt. Thanks...
Lol
It's interesting how the view count on these guns went up about 150 views after I posted this thread. So now I guess I'm not the only one watching this auction. There was a new bidder today though. It's ok, I think I know where the bidding on these is going to be in about 6 days but the...
Several years ago the company had a Pocket watch out there. I would like to try find one of these for an older friend who carries pocket watches.
Let me know
Thanks all.

Or a 610 in this hide out configuration perhaps 3 1/4" to fully enclose the ejector rod but thin and easy to hide and surprise zombies with.
Here just imagine a 3 1/2 inch Model 27 with a slightly larger than typical K or L frame rounded butt. With M&P Model 58 style sights in 10mm. Stainless or...
Hi all;
I am looking for a Model 1086. (Yeah I know who isn't?)
Well anyway what I would like is a shooter. It doesn not have to be pristene. Just solid and all there. (No neglect or bash marks) Now let me qualify that too. I plan to carry this gun as a CCW so holster wear means very little...
