My range is 100 yds but only allows paper so I have no choice but to shoot at bullseyes the whole time and since its the only outdoor range in the area and if its crowded, we only have an hour limit on the lane. Basically, you might have 2-3 breaks for target changes and that's it. It sucks...

Took a look at it when I got home and even unscrewed it to inspect. You are correct that the diameters are close in size but the star washer was just large enough to cover the hole. I get your concern though. If it was a standard washer, I wouldn't be worried but since the points of the star...

Just installed my UPG-16 grip yesterday and used the same bolt with no additional washers and it worked fine....very snug. Didn't have to drill an indent either. Just be careful not to bend the spring when installing.:D

I installed 2 yesterday but first compared them to the oem LAB and noticed that the gaps of the oem were wider but not by much. I think that as the REC LABs are used, the plastic will eventually wear down to the point where the button will slide easily.
