    Shield IWB holster?

I tried the Alien Gear, Remora and other IWBs. Didn't like any of them. The one I do like and use all the time is my Galco King-Tuk. It fits me well in the 1:30 to 2:00 position, cant adjustable, height adjustable, sits secure. I can sit, walk, drive and ride my motorcycle wearing this holster.

    Holster for shield ???

I tried the Alien Gear Cloak 2.0 and didn't like it at all. The kydex was so large and thick that it just never felt comfortable at all. I have a Galco KingTuk and that fits so much better under my belt that I sometimes forget I have it on.

    Concealed Carrying The Shield

Spend the time to develop muscle memory of how to point and shoot because in a high stress (Personal Defense) situation aiming as at the range isn't very likely. Remember that there are no "ten" rings on an assailant, all you need to do is hit within a 12" circle at 21 feet or less.

LGS won't show take down on a gun?

This thread is very interesting. Until now I never even thought of taking down a NIB gun in the store before buying it. That was true since 1970 until now. Recently I bought a couple new guns and each time the LGS took it down for me to show me how easy it is compared to the old 1911 days...

Back From S&W/ No More Extaction Issues/ But

So far my Shield has devoured everything I've fed it. The only extraction/ejection problems I had was when reloading a new powder, I started with a low amount that didn't have enough recoil to fully actuate the slide causing FTE. User error.

Back From S&W/ No More Extaction Issues/ But

You're describing the extractor, the ejector has no spring. It is that little bit of metal that the brass hits while being extracted to flip it out the port. However, if the extractor doesn't get a good grip on the brass rim it may flip upward. I had a 1911 do that frequently. It didn't...

    Holster Opinion!

I just returned the AlienGear Cloak 2.0 for a refund. It was just so uncomfortable for me compared to the Galco King-Tuk. For a no break in holster if it doesn't fit out of the box then it never will. I was very disappointed with the width of the kydex which is what made the holster a pain in...

    New Shield 9, new box!

Both of mine, the 7 and the 8, were very stiff loading the last round at first. I didn't use an Uplula then. Four months later both are easy to load by hand.

    SHIELD - Printing

I have the AlienGear Cloak 2.0 and am returning it, not because of printing but because it's just plain uncomfortable. No matter what position I tried the Kydex portion is very wide and causes the holster to stick out from my body. The only place it feels ok is at the small of my back but...

    Under $50 IWB Shield Holster?

I'm returning the AlienGear holster I bought because it just doesn't fit right on my hip. It sticks out in back and prints in all but the small of my back and I don't carry there. It looks good but not as nice fitting as the GalcoKing-Tuk which just about disappears inside my belt.

DO YOU TRUST GUN MAGAZINE REVIEWS ?

Not at all. Somehow they praise everything they test and the more advertising dollars spent the higher the praise. Gun magazines are only good for feature stories and introducing the latest and greatest got to have products.

    Under $50 IWB Shield Holster?

You can look at Remora holsters or Desantis. I got the new Aliengear Cloak 2 and find it very uncomfortable compared to my Galco King-Tuk. Finding a holster you may like is very subjective. What fits one person may torture another.

    Which holster do you use?

The new Aliengear Cloak 2 Tuk is made to be thinner and more flexable without having it sag with the weight of the gun. The upgrade is to make it more functional, lighter, thinner and as supportive as the original. I have one on order and will see how it feels compared to my Galco King-Tuk.

    9mm Single Stack Magazine Loaders

I use my thumbs. At first I found them hard to load but once you get the hang of pushing down the bullets as you slide in the next one it works quite easily. That being said I have used the Glock double stack loader to load them at first but now don't need anything but my own thumbs. I use...
