I also seen this on U tube and after shooting my victory over 400 rounds I cleaned it and the take down screw was still nice and tight, it had what looked like red lock tight on the threads. I'm not going to worry about that screw at all, the pistol is perfect for me.

I bought a new victory 22 a few months ago and it works and shoots perfect. I always thought someday I would like to buy a Ruger 22 single six for target shooting but the way my Victory shoots I don't think I'll ever need that Single Six.
