I have a 2nd generation, but find it hard to shoot. I sure like the looks of them though.

I have a Plain Jane 4506. Don't shoot it much but I sure like it. Wish it had S&W grips.

My 4506 will feed anything also. So I expect it is not the model number causing the issue you see.

Is that a custom SX1? Can you tell us what has been done to it? I have a few SX1s myself and am beginning to think about some custom work.

Well, I have a 4506 and a Colt 1911 National Match. I love my 4506, but the NM is just plain amazing.

Also I think the 645 magazines have a steel floor plate while the 4506's are plastic. Not that it matters with functionality, I just though you should know.

I've not had any problems with Numrich and I have ordered quite a few parts from them over the years. Any day now I should be receiving a new magazine follower for my 4506. The original one was broken in such a way that it would not lock the slide back on the last shot.

I would have done the same thing you did (buying it) even though I don't have any money for it!
