Okay, Sorry for not being more specific. I am looking for a can for a .22. I just started kinda looking into this and I have been reading about the YHM. Is there a downside to being able to take them apart? The post that someone just posted about getting it MORE gunked up just doesn't sound...

Thanks for your response. I actually went over to the AR board for this topic and found my answer (which is pretty much what you just stated). I guess i'll hang onto my lil' 15-22. The ONLY thing I wish I had now was the factory flash suppressor.. Maybe i'll have to drop belt fed a PM shortly ;)

Okay, so I recently saw a .22 conversion for the AR-15 online for like $149. Apparently it just replaces the bolt? I recently bought a 15-22 BEFORE reading the reviews first. Like I've stated before, I haven't had a problem with mine yet, but if one was on the fence between the .223 and the .22...

That's the problem. We buy them under the impression that they have been worked over and been through the QC specs of any normal functioning .22. I'll be honest.. I noticed your from ocoee.. I'm from Orlando (20 minutes), hopefully we have the same batch!!!! NOW, If I had only waited for the flash suppressor!!!!!

Now, once I were to send it back for an extractor issue, what are the chances they would be able to put the flash suppressor on? I would pay them to do so. BTW: I'm really enjoying this site.
