    AB Arms Handguard doesn't fit

I personally had the AB Arms handguard on a couple of different rifles, originally I had it on my Sport and then I put one on a build. They are a good handguard, very comfortable. I do not know about now but back then the upper rail on the handguard didn't align with the upper rail on the...

Hornady 225gr FTX 45 cal. bullets

I know this is an old thread and I apologize if I am rehashing anything. I purchased a bunch of the 225gr FTX's to load for my 45colt Levergun. I just loved how they shot. Then I saw the new Hornady 220gr Critical Duty 45acp ammo. It really appears to be the same bullet with the poly tip cut...

    Anyone intentionally use smaller mags?

I have been running the smaller mags in my Sport for over 2 years..I have some of each size but when you hand a nephew or niece a 30 round mag you end up with 30 pieces of brass. My most used mags are my Thermold 20's that I load with about 15.....they have many pounds of CFE223 through them.:D

Ok..I have had enough time with my "blackout" and she is a shooter, there is a lot of discrepancies in the reloading data and improvements happen all the time. I myself am testing some hotter supersonics today, rounds that I want to use for hunting When I say hotter I am talking 2400fps MV...

    Barrel for my new build

Jayman that AR Performance barrel is a great barrel and finding flash hider/ muzzle brakes are not really a problem. The reasoning behind the AR performance 5/8x24 thread is a little heavier barrel. I to am wanting one of the 1:8 5R barrels 20" long, the people that I know that have bought...

    Looking to buy first AR

I beg to differ with you sir, For the last few months I have been loading 40gr and 45gr ballistic tip/V-max bullets to run in my Sport with the 1:8 5R barrel. They shoot like little lasers and haven't been overly affected by crosswinds. I had heard that the 8 twist wouldnt shoot the little...

    Which mags do you prefer?

I have steel and poly, I was in the Marine Corps and they tried some aluminum mags....they sucked and went away...I really like my steel but I also have some Thermold 20's that I use more than any others, I bought them for $3.99 over a year and a half ago and the reviews were that they...

Free Floating the barrel DOES improve accuracy!

Like centurion said the Non is cheaper plus easier to install...here is another helpful hint, lose the flash hider and your groups will tighten up even more. the flash suppressor does change your point of impact and removing it helps in the accuracy department also.
