    I was thinking about getting one of these new Bodyguards and seen one at Cabela's and it looked like the hammer was resting against the firing pin. Will the gun accidentally discharge if it's dropped with one in the chamber?

    How many rounds do you carry?

    Just three in my 442... Pocket carry with five gets a little heavy. Besides, no badguy is going to give you a 1,2,3 go.....

    Are many people buying new S&W revolvers?

    Bought a new 442 a few weeks back with no lock. Wanted a new 686, but will not buy a revolver with a lock even if it is a Smith&Wesson. I ended up buying a new Ruger GP100. Am happy with both.
