    Shield Full Top Serrations ..

By no means am I a chemist.... the way it was described to me is a melted(liquefied) salt bath, can't remember what temp... I know the technical term is different for, say, a Glock slide, but it's the same process... Just slightly different ingredients. Is that what you're talking about?

That would be a much longer trek for me than you!;)

    Shield Full Top Serrations ..

I might get some hate over this... but once I get the Vanguard II for my G19, the shield's slide will be at Doug's shop. Its a bit of a drive for me, just under two hours so I just might mail it this time.

Shield vs 442/642 for pocket carry.

I can't comment on size comparison, but will have to agree with the previous posters, that pocket carry with the shield is probably not a good idea. Up until last week my EDC was the 9c with a NAA five shot .22mag revolver as a bug. I'm a plumber and often find myself in crawlspaces, and other...

M&P Shield Trijicon Night Sights HD

There are other modifications that can be done to an M&P for one handed slide manipulations. I have yet to have them done to either my Shield or 9c, but they're in my plans. As far as sights go, I have nothing special. My 9c has a step sight, and was hoping the shield would come that way too...

    .22lr Target Pistol

High Standard made some really good .22's! I just gave my M-101 to a good friend of mine. Great plinking guns and as accurate as you can make them.

M&P9 Shield Serial Number/Date Test fired

Purchased 4-19-12 Serial Number DXE29XX Test Fire 03/14/12 Bought it dirty as could be! It'll be a good 3K before I clean it anyway. :D I like the fact they actually tested it before shipping!

    Phrases you like to use!

I'm going to have to steal that one! "Common sense is an uncommon virtue" A leader of mine would use that all the time. So true!

M&P Shield Bodyguard 380 size comparison

Not one gun or one caliber is right for everyone. For me the .40 is a bit too snappy, and IMHO, the 45acp is less than. But I do know a good number of people who swear by it. I'd still really like to shoot a Shield in .40!

    Hello All!

Nice to see so many other service members on a board! I can't say I have much of anything under my belt. Shellback, and Operation Stabieze. (SP is wrong, I'm sure. I can't write in Australian.)

    Hello All!

That's my first one. LOL! Love it so far! With knife laws being so wishy washy in MI, I figured the Izula II would be my best bet for legal carry. That and my Kershaw.

    Hello All!

I know you now! Funny how small the net really is! Yeah, drama. Even too much on MGF for my liking.

M&P Shield Bodyguard 380 size comparison

We're on the same wave. My military training is my downfall as far as getting the job done and protecting my family. Re-learning to fight with a knife and hand gun is a whole ball of confusion for me. Things in MI are getting worse by the day. LEO's are getting cut from the budget non stop...

M&P Shield Bodyguard 380 size comparison

Worth the trip from any neighboring State for any class, I might add; The "gun community" here in MI are generally good people. If you're interested in a class, there are many people here who would give you a bed for the night or two. Just throwing that out there. The next class I'm going to...
